Hanuman movie collections – Hanu Man surpasses Rs 20 crore mark in two days, competes with Merry Christmas at the box office.

The Telugu superhero film Hanu Man, directed by Prasanth Varma and starring Teja Sajja, has crossed the Rs 20 crore mark in its first two days of release.

Hanu Man was released on January 12, 2024, along with Mahesh Babu’s Guntur Kaaram and Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas, starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi.

While Guntur Kaaram dominated the box office with Rs 40 crore on its opening day, Hanu Man managed to collect Rs 8.05 crore, including Rs 3.65 crore from the Hindi interpretation and Rs 4.4 crore from the Telugu interpretation.

still, Hanu Man witnessed a significant growth on its alternate day, collecting Rs 12.45 crore, with Rs 4.05 crore from the Hindi interpretation and Rs 8.4 crore from the Telugu interpretation.

This brings the total collection of the film to Rs 20.5 crore in two days.

The film is anticipated to perform well over the weekend and the Pongal leaves, as it has generated a positive word of mouth among the observers.

Merry Christmas, on the other hand, had a decent opening of Rs 15 crore on its first day, with Rs 10 crore from the Hindi interpretation and Rs 5 crore from the Tamil interpretation.

The film, which is a suspenser revolving around a hijacking case, has entered mixed reviews from critics and cult.

This film is likely to face a tough competition from Hanu Man, which has a wider appeal among the millions.
